When you need someone electronic, there are a number of great places to shop both online and in-person. The question is, how do you know where to go?

The picture above is of Currys, probably the biggest name when it comes to these types of stores. What I love about Currys is the physical presence in addition to the online store. Sometimes it is better to be able to see the product firsthand before buying, especially if the price is on the higher end.

Hughes is another company that has a strong retail presence. It is nice to have a second option as far as going somewhere in person. Not only that, but their site offers a wide range of products and plenty of deals.

While Currys is the dominant in-person retailer when it comes to electronics and appliances, there are other players when we open up the search to the internet.

AO.com is another site who focus on good deals while still maintaining a high standard and quality of product. Their home page is riddled with 20% off and items up to £150 off.

While these are the brands we’ve chosen to cover today, there are plenty other big-name options (John Lewis & Partners, Argos, to name a few) to choose from.

One key thing to remember is that the majority of the products sold by these retailers are not actually manufactured by them, so what you need to pay attention to is the price, shipping and customer service, not necessarily the product itself. Now, armed with that knowledge, go forward and make the best decision for yourself!
